Network Member: François Deckon

Professor H. Kuassi François Deckon is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lomé in Togo, his home country. He is an expert in higher education and business law, and has consulted for numerous African governments and international institutions on these subjects. 

He consulted for the World Bank on Urban DRM AFR2, where he identified land-based production and security practices and drew up proposals for convergence axes between controlled urban development and better security of tenure rights in Grand Lomé. He has also consulted for the World Bank for an assignment with the Land and Geospatial Task Team Lead to to identify land-based production and security practices and draw up proposals for convergence axes between controlled urban development and improve security of tenure rights.

He is a member of the Economical Law African-Euro Institute and the National Commission for Harmonization of Business Law in Africa. He is also the General Secretary of Togolese Juridical Sciences Review and was the consultant behind the GCI-DATA Togo land code.

He is a native French speaker and can read and write professionally in English.
